We work on all woodwind and brass instruments: piccolos, flutes, all clarinets, oboes, bassoons, all saxophones, trumpets, trombones, euphoniums, baritones, tubas and sousaphones.
Throughout our industry, unfortunately, there is not a defined standard for job terminology. What one shop defines as “Overhaul” or “Mechanical Overhaul” might be the same as our “Minor Repad,” etc. Below is a list of jobs we do and our definitions.
We are also able to do many specialty repairs not listed here, such as: crack pinning, tone hole replacement, replace damaged or rotted brass instrument parts, shorten or lengthen tubing for tuning purposes, braze broken keys and braces, restore damaged threads, make new hinge rods, etc. We stock many replacement parts for common makes of all instruments.
Price estimates are difficult without seeing your instrument, but we do have set price ranges — based on time — for each of the jobs listed here. Call or e-mail for an idea of job prices.
